About WBTV

WBTV (Western Boone Radio and Television) is a completely student-run television station that was started in 1975. The program is currently supervised by Matt Foxworthy. WBTV is a Career and Technical Education course that is offered through West Central CTE. This program is made up of students from Western Boone High School, Southmont High School, North Montgomery High School, Crawfordsville High School. This is a 2 year program. The first year focuses on newscasts, projects, and a general introduction to the industry. the second year focuses on internships and more professional projects. The program produces live newscasts every other week throughout the school year. In addition, we also cover school events and sports games.
